About us

The Globalisation Institute is a European think tank. GI to launch Rising Stars group in Brussels
Written by Alex Singleton
Thursday, 05 April 2007
The Rising Stars group is being organised as a network for Europe's rising stars in the worlds of politics, philosophy, the media, academia, business and the professions. Our aim is to identify and encourage future leaders in these worlds of work, providing an opportunity to meet like-minded individuals, hear interesting ideas, and make good contacts.

Open to those between the ages of 18 and 30 with an interest in free-market ideas, it will meet in Brussels and host social events and speaker meetings. Speakers will include major figures, including top political authors and commentators and prominent European politicians. Members will be able to get involved in the work of the Institute: some will do internships, others become GI authors, and others just use the programme as a networking opportunity.

Eligible readers can apply for membership of the Rising Stars group by completing this online form.
